Vincent Cortese

Vincent Cortese is the Chef and Co-Owner of Twist Catering. With a decade of experience in New York City’s top fine-dining kitchens, Vincent brings a collaborative spirit, sharp technique, and a deep passion for hospitality to every event.

A graduate of The Art Institute of New At Del Posto Under Chef Mark Ladner, where he grew a passion for Italian Cuisine. He then moved on to work for Chef Daniel Boulud at the acclaimed Restaurant DANIEL, where he honed his French technique and developed a love for disciplined, high-level cooking. After serving his time at Daniel he opened Aggio with Brian Voltaggio as Chef de Cuisine. He later returned to New York as Chef de Cuisine of Del Posto, working to uphold the restaurant’s Michelin star through operational excellence and mentorship. He went on to become Executive Chef at Bar Boulud before moving on to be the founding Executive Chef of bar56 in DUMBO, where he set the culinary vision for a seasonally driven menu rooted in Italian and French influences.

With Twist Catering, Vincent now brings his Michelin-caliber experience to weddings, private dinners, and events—crafting elegant, thoughtful menus designed to surprise and delight.
